Smiles and Winks!

So tonight I walked in the door to my beautiful youngest daughter, Kay. She was sitting in the high chair and I just happened to walk in when Debbi was getting dinner out of the oven (baked potatoes... mmmmmm!). Debbi was in the middle of feeding Kay some dinner and when I came in Kay smiled real big and motioned toward the bowl on the table filled with food. She wanted me to feed her some grubbin'. I happily consented and sat down to enjoy a couple of minutes with her. Now to give a little background to the next part of this story. In our family we squint at each other quite a bit. It is the unwritten sign for "I love you." As I was feeding her, I squinted my little "love you" to her, and she looked at me, smiled, and squinted back. It was so sweet. Deb and I were discussing later in the night how cute kids are at this age. She is no exception. If only they were this cute forever!
