Not much new... :-)

So another week come and gone. I thought it would be a nice change up to have Debbi write this week's entry, but she shot that one down real quick. She claims you all want to hear from me... I beg to differ. Perhaps you could comment if you want to hear from Debbi next week. :-) So, not much new to report this week, at least from my perspective. Joseph hasn't been kicked out of school yet. :-) He is learning tons though... mostly good. This week we got a call from one of his classmates mom. She wanted to have a "playdate" with Joseph. It seems weird growing up in the church because all the kids have many, many playmates from church, but for their son, this whole school thing is a new thing and he needs playmates. In any case, we arranged to go over yesterday. The little boy's name is Leo. Joseph absolutely loves to play with him. They are on the bus together too. Bekah started her dancing class this week. Here is a picture of her "dancing," okay running around. Fun, none the less. 2006_09_24_01 I guess there is something to say about her. She has gotten into the questioning stage of life now. The most common thing I have heard all day long is "Dad, what does __________ mean?" She is constantly asking about everything. It is super cute. Needless to say she is learning, but she often repeats things too. Right now Debbi is reading the "Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you Hear?" book. Bekah keeps asking what the different animals are. Cute, cute, cute. Kay is just getting so big. As I mentioned last week, she is walking now. It is lots of fun to hold her hand and walk around. She seems so small, yet she walks. Like a little toy... but cooler. :-) (Yeah, I'm sure I'll get some comments about that one). Debbi says that Kay said Momma this week... although I have yet to hear it again. I believe her though, just in case you were wondering. :-) Debbi is still super busy with the kids. She is enjoying having only 2 to take care of during the day. It feels like vacation all of the time. She is reading a ton too. It is strange, I have been the one reading tons in our family the past couple of years and all of the sudden I am out of school and Debbi is in the book club so she is reading all the good books. I often read the books after her, but I am much slower and less motivated than her. She is amazing. Here is a cute picture of her giving Kay a ride on her back. 2006_09_24_03 I have been busy with work. Nothing new to report there. Oh, I got another big raise this week. That is nice. The most exciting day of the week is definetely Saturday. We had all sorts of projects to do. We need to seal our deck so I sanded all the little "Made in the USA" stamps off, as well as cleaned it up a bit yesterday. I am going to scrub it tomorrow and hopefully seal it this week sometime... probably will end up happening on Saturday though. I also took my first stab at electric work yesterday. I replaced the two front lights by the front door. Debbi was helping me and really had a good laugh when I eletrocuted myself... but hey, what is an electric job without a little shock here and there. :-) I also took a stab at trying to fix our downstairs. A couple of weeks ago our downstairs bathroom and bedroom lost electricity. It wasn't a popped breaker, so we figured it was the breaker itself that went out. Now get this... I REPLACED THE BREAKER MYSELF. Before you get super impressed with my awesome abilities, it didn't work when I replaced it. I'm not convinced I replaced the right one, but hey, I'm not worse off than before. I will go and mess with it again this week.. hopefully. We were just sitting around and started video taping tonight. Here is the video of a fun night at our home. There are some good shots of everyone.
I guess that is it. I hope you are all having a great week! Drop us a line sometime. We would love to hear from you all!! We love you!
