Hey Everyone!! This past week has been full of all sorts of exciting things. The most exciting has to be Debbi's Saturday adventure. She has been running with some friends of hers for a couple of months and they decided to go out and do something official and signed up for a local 5k (3.2-3.3 miles). Here is a little video of their start and finish!
I went for moral support and watched the kids and have to say I had a blast!! There were games for the kids... including the old spin art machine... wow, that brought back some memories. There was a couple of short races for the kids and even a 1 mile fun run. We put the kids in the strollers and pushed them for that one... we were definetely the freak show for the run, but it was fun. Here is a picture of us crossing the finish line. :-)
And here is a picture of Joseph after he "won" the 100 meter dash! (Everyone won because they got a cookie... that's winning to me!)
We liked it so much we decided to do a 10K in a couple of weeks. Debbi is already in shape for it and I've been running a lot... gasp... yes, and even 5 miles a couple of times... perhaps I'll try to do 6 miles tomorrow morning and see how it goes.
Besides that we are just enjoying life. This past week Kay started taking her first steps. Here is a cute video of some fun with her!
