Ah... Homeownership!

Hey All! It has been a great week this week and one full of awesome and amazing advances! We have officially joined the millions of Americans who own their own home. It is great and amazing! I'm sure after the initial euphoric feeling wears off we will see there is some faults and flaws... but right now we are just happy as clams!! Even happier I would wager! Deb and I just came in from our back deck where we watched the fireflies light up a little bit just as dusk set in and it started to rain! It is an amazing home!! I'm very grateful to be living here right now and feel so blessed!! So the update... yeah, no pictures this week... we have been too busy to take pictures although there is probably plenty to take pictures of. We moved on Tuesday and have spend just about every minute unpacking... except for today... our day of rest. I think the Lord knew what he was doing when he instituted that law. :-) We have unpacked most of the upstairs, although the rooms still need some TLC... I'm sure this week it will all come together. As is typical for all home-ownership I had my first project this week.  I re-routed the internet cable from the living room to the study.  That was fun.  I learned a lot about our home... I sure the first of many, many projects! The kids love the place! Joseph and Bekah are constantly playing and they have taken on a new responsibility. Bekah has claimed the downstairs purple bathroom as her own and Joseph just loves a little closet in his room that we said he could use for playing. Oh, some big news... Kay is on the brink of crawling! She is actually kind of doing it... but I will wait another week or so before offically saying she is crawling! I guess that is it from us this week! Life is good... real good. I'm just grateful to be here!! We love you all!!!
